Our leadership
Michael Werner is a Founding Partner and the Managing Director of Creswell. With nearly two decades of leadership and consulting experience, from early-stage startups to established industry leaders, he advises Creswell clients across the full business lifecycle.
A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin with degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship, he began his career in new business development within regulated industries. His work today focuses on expansion and exit strategies through the legal cannabis business license market.
Michael also serves as a strategic advisor to companies in caffeine, alcohol, and psychedelics, and is an active member of the National Cannabis Industry Association Financial Services Committee. He is driven by a belief that well-operated businesses can meaningfully enhance and advance the human condition.
